| Possibly the most difficult ethical dilemma for me that I've ever thought of; everyone in the world except for you is going to magically become four times cleverer. You have the option of holding other people back too, to keep you company. Any number of people; just some friends, entire countries, only people whose names begin with Q, whatever you choose. What do you choose?

| Hmm, interesting dilemma, since I'm not 4x the intelligence of the average person I expect it would be quite uncomfortable to suddenly become one of the dumbest rather than one of the more intelligent. Though I have to admit that I have often wished to be of "normal" intelligence, then perhaps in my ignorance I could be happy rather than constantly assailed by ideas and thoughts that no-ne else can relate to... a case of "the grass is always greener" no doubt. Not very likely to happen. |

| My anarchist streak is telling me to make the current leaders of the world stupid, because hopefully then the very smart people would, y'know, not be stupid enough to listen to them. But it sounds a little stupid in itself. It's a hard question, to be honest. I don't think I'd want to subject other people to the same sort of situation - but at the same time, it'd suck to be alone and stupid. :/ Mm. |

| I must say I would hold everyone back. This world just keeps getting in more trouble everytime someone clever comes along. The animals are stupid. Any animal lovers out there please don't flip out. It's true they are content with living, eating, sleeping, and breeding. I haven't seen the latest headlines, but I'm pretty sure they don't state we're worried about the next squirral nucular war. |
