Ahahaa! I may have blogged a couple of times before on the superiority of Australian free-to-air TV - I've certainly mentioned it to people - and now I have conclusive proof. Dr. Who is being played on the ABC, from start to finish, omitting only lost episodes, they claim. In your face, other-country-living-people! Ha haaa! Dr. Who for us, and not for you! We loves it, preciouss! And you don't! Ss!

Love the vampire game. blood.pl, problem is, it's full of rogue .vbs and worse code now. Just so you know, as fun at it is, it's not worth picking up spyware and other things which cause unpleasant consequences. I'll be quitting as a result of picking up something nasty, twice now. Don't post on the Blog about off-topic things... if you read the FAQ, it supplies a means of contacting Raven about issues (web form I think). |

This is not the Vampires forum. This is not a Vampire comments page. This page is not for leaving Vampire comments. This page's sole purpose is most definitely not Vampire's comments and the leaving thereof. There is an email address for sending irritating comments to piss RavenBlack off, use that instead of the blog. Also, please do not leave the Vampire game otherwise RavenBlack might cry. Or shrug. Or not care. Or something. |

Yes, Raven is amazing! I love Raven. We should all follow Raven. Raven shall bring us salvation. I'm especially proud of myself for giving unconditional respect to someone I seemingly beleive can't fight his own battles. HAIL RAVENBLACK! |

thats great. solistus pointed out this shouldn't be used for off topic things, yet i haven't seen one word on Dr who here. just great. |
RavenBlack |
Digi - er, I can't tell who you're trying to parody there, but I'm reasonably sure it's uncalled for. Sophie - you may have said the words 'Dr Who', but your post is still no less off-topic than any other here (except Nameless's, which is unprompted off-topic, which is more what was being complained about). |
Solistus |
Raven, you're just as off-topic as the rest of us... but topics change, and Nameless' post changed the topic. We're all on the topic of the conversation, which just happens to not match the post we're 'commenting' on. Back on track-- I've heard of Dr. Who, but never seen it. Clearly, in your opinion at least, it's worth getting excited over (if only as an excuse to brag about Australian TV)... I should look into it. American TV is an abysmal pit of despair. There are a tiny handful of decent shows scattered between a handful of channels (I know there are more than a handful of channels, but most of them never have anything worthwhile). There's plenty of mindless entertainment, but that gets old fast for anyone with a fully working brain- which is not all that many people; thus the immense popularity of TV in America. |

If it was me you were trying to parody, Digi, I was actually writing what I wrote more due to the fact that /I'm/ tired of reading Vampires comments. As for Dr. Who. Well, I've ranted enough about Dr. Who in my own blog. What interests me more is free television /without/ a TV license? You bastard. Hail Ravenblack (I can only assume this is how all comments are now supposed to end). |

I know, Solistus - look what I said. I was including myself in that accusation of off-topic, and pointing out that the original complaint and following remarks were not in the same class of off-topic as the Nameless post. Dr. Who needs some filtering, as the serieses vary a lot; if they have Tom Baker as the doctor, they're generally good. McCoy is good too, but closer to the mindless entertainment flavour. Colin Baker is seemingly universally loathed. And personally, I hate the cricket doctor that went before him whose name I can never remember. |
James (shades) |
Jon Pertwee is nigh to my favorite doctor; some days I even like him better than Tom Baker. |
John Caplinger |
Those of us who first met the Doctor through Tom Baker can never follow another. Public Broadcasting in the US used to transmit the Doctor; now one must subscribe to cable to get 200 channels of nothing-on. Well, the plastic surgery channel is kinda nice, and Anime mushrooms hither-and-yon unpredictably. Remember me to Galifrey! |

RB, I /hate/ you. I can't even get it on PBS in this damned place. Of course, that did force me to buy Black Adder on DVD, since I couldn't get that either.. and I agree with Mr. Caplinger. I met the Doctor first when he was in his TB incarnation, and altho I love several other doctors, I will never feel the same way about them. Or about other companions. Leela and Romana will always be my faves. Followed closely by K-9. |
