I just got a second email from Paypal scammers suggesting that I should go to 'securepaypal.org' and enter all my account details and my credit card number to confirm my account, thusly:Dear Paypal Member,I suggest that everybody go to that URL via an anonymising proxy of some sort, fill the form with swearing, and submit it thirty or forty times. And also tell other people you know to do the same. [11:24] |

Oh, and yes I did report it to Paypal, quite a while ago. |

Eh, cut-and-paste from the original PayPal login screen, presumably. Astonishing how slapdash it is, really, with its costumer care, unconvincing backplot and desperate prompting for "your information" - surely they'd get better results if it just pretended to be a normal PayPal payment that needed confirmation. Tsk. Was it a good idea to link to their site from your URL, though, Raven? Or is your blogging script being overly keen to make all URLs clickable? |

Meh, a worthwhile risk I feel. There are amusing repercussions awaiting anyone who tries to hax0r the server these days. |

I feel it would have been much more interesting if they'd misspelled fraud, preferrably with an e. Preventing Freud is a noble, yet essential goal, after all. |

I don't understand why you haven't reported it to the Attorney General or the police. If this is fraud, you really should. This really fits into what you were talking about before with Americans needing mandatory laws to make them do /normal/ polite things. You need to report this beyond Paypal -because they won't. |

Yes. Very amusing. |

Whoops. Raven's right. It's very amusing to try and type with a beak. |

I fail to see the humor in henpecking, myself. Some of us, I'm certain, used to be devout practicioners! |
