More lessons from the ankle: 1. Carrying cups of liquid and hopping are two activities that don't mix well. 2. Showering without putting any weight on one leg is difficult. 3. The "oof" noise that FPS computer games make when you fall too far is surprisingly accurate. 4. Discovering that the leg you've been hopping on also has a minor sprain is lots of fun. [00:56] |

Okay, who here remembers Impossible Mission (and its sequel) and the scream of its protagonist as he falls through the floor? - ZM |

Now *that* noise wasn't very accurate. Though maybe it was - I suppose I wasn't falling as far as Mr Mission generally did. |

Amusingly this reminds me of a Doom.wad I downloaded several years ago. Everytime you fell far enough to take falling damage, you would hear Lister yell "Aaaaah, me foot". It was mildy amusing in the afternoon, at 3:00 AM it was absolutley hilarious. |

That was a Red Dwarf reference for those of you who don't follow. :) |

From "Thanks for the Memory". And of course it was hilarious if you were drinking vodka at 3am. |

Are you really laughing out loud every few words? Doesn't that make you sound like a gibbering lunatic? |
