I recommend the show .hack//sign for anyone who likes anime that has a plot, characters, nice music and decent animation. So probably not if you like Dragonball Z. .hack//sign is a bit slow, but the music makes that much less irritating than it would usually be. And its being good makes up for the odd punctuation in the title.

I've got the whole series on DivX, but I can't say I liked it that much. I guess the way there's loads of battles but it hardly shows any of them was a minus, plus the way it's all so slow and drawn-out... :/ |

.hack// is actually growing into an interesting franchise; they've got a four part ps2 game series, which is bundled with .hack//liminality, and two other anime series, .hack//ai and .hack//dusk, which I know nothing about. But sign and liminality are both a fairly interestingly done. |

I caught an episode of it once. the only problem is they show it when I"m inclined to be outside causing a rukus. Another Good one would be Spriggan. I"ve heard Hellsing is pretty good, but haven't manged to see that yet. |
