| I have succumbed to the lure of financial reward, and allowed advertisements to taint my wares. My quizzes and games now have popup ads, thanks to popupsponsor.com offering me $3 for every thousand unique visitors in a day. It's not a lot of money, but it's more than I was getting without popups.

What counts as a visitor? Someone who clicks an add, or someone who has an add appear on their screen? By the way, I'm getting no popups on games.

Mm, the popups on games are selective, only happen if you're logged in, not registered, and haven't had a popup for 24 hours. A visitor counts from just having the ad window appear.

Any idea on what counts as having the window appear on the screen? I just allowed javascript to open new windows and clicked on a quiz in case this would be useful for you. OK, ad pops up in a new window which I annihilate (love Enlightenment because it gives that option as well as just close) because it's taking a long time to load. So, do you get money based on http requests even if it's never completely displayed on screen?

Don't know. I'm not even sure it's necessary for the ad page to appear - getting the remote javascript might be enough to increment the counter.
