Is all ivy the poison kind? I've only every heard of people complain of poison ivy when its in America. I've slept in, eaten, and once smoked ivy, with no adverse effect. Other than that which would normally come from sleeping, eating, or smoking an uncomfortably shaped plant. |

Mm, England doesn't seem to have much in the way of poison ivy; the little bastards are relatively inoffensive too, as are the stupid leaders. |

Still off-topic - English ivies are Hederas. The poison ivy, Toxicodendron radicans or Rhus radicans, is a North American native and isn't commonly found in the UK in it's toxic form. It isn't a true ivy, being a member of the cashew family. |
