My server was exploded by repeated powercuts; it fried the hard drive. Despite this, I managed to recover almost everything, and had backups of those few things I couldn't recover. A mere day later and the machine is back alive and up again. I had a revelation during this time: Usually, when I have a day of everything going wrong, the next day redeems it. This week, however, has been bad things after bad. The reason for this, I realise, is that I have something so unutterably good scheduled that everything until that time has to go horribly wrong to maintain a balance. I'm sure it will be worth it. Besides, my disaster-recovery skills exceed my ability to be entertained without good things. [01:29] |

It has been a bad bit with computers time...I took down my Windows box with epic flair last week. It lives now, though...I will have to write up the saga for you sometime. |

I never realized what a blog addict i have become until your site was down for a bit. I'm glad that things are up and running again - and i hope that your good thing is mindbogglingly unspeakably wonderful. |

Hmmmmm... Why does machine think that this comment was posted on both 4/30 & 5/1? If you look at the May2002 Archive below, it has it again, there. Odd. |
