Comments on Saturday 27 April 2002:
Planned Parenthood are an excellent organisation. Not least for the irony of the name, since the majority of their help appears to be with planning to not be a parent. But also because, when health insurance coverage is utterly arse, they cost less than what the pills alone would cost, for both prescription and pills. They also provide a year's worth in a visit, saving repeated trips and waits at a pharmacy. And their gynecologist people are more competent than the expensive ones too. And nicer. Apparently. So hurrah for being able to get a year's worth of anti-baby stuff, to allow the safe shooting of spunk safely inside a sexy she-wife! Less time spent in the waiting room, more time left for pulling silly faces while you cough up the protein, deep within some poor victim / wife. What an excellent organisation indeed.

Planned Parenthood is not just for abortions and the prevention of pregnancy. Many people get much needed help from the organization. The true irony of the organization is not just that some of the clients are not planning on being a parent, but that many of the cleints have not planned, prior to actually becoming pregnant, on being a parent.

Abortion is wrong... and that is what most of Planned Parenthood's clients are there for. I can tell you personally that women that go in for abortions are not told the whole story.

Where the hell are you crazy "abortion is wrong" people coming from? Surely you're not regulars of mine? I didn't even say anything about abortion; my wife didn't go to Planned Parenthood and get twelve packs of abortion, surprisingly enough. That's quite aside from the argument of "shut up with your bloody religious claptrap that was made up by catholic priests who probably molested children".

As I recently learned Planned Parenthood kicks ass. I recently got to experience the dreaded "Day the condom broke". and in a fit of despiration I checked the planned parenthood website to see if anything could be done to prevent pregnancy afterwards. To my suprise there is actually a morning after pill, available for roughly $20 in most states (warning: it is not something to be used habitually - from what I read it is simply releasing larger amounts of hormones into the womans system which allows the egg to continue it's natural course. But as it also states it can cause sickness or cramps) but I advise getting at least one set of these the same as how you get a fire extinguisher for your house. Because although $20 for a pill is a bit pricy, it's nothing compared to what it would cost if you let nature take it's course (that is if you don't want a child yet).
