A thought occurred to me today, also based on a thing my wife said; small 15-second bites of Flash animation, with sound, being tiny programming tutorials; "Fifteen seconds of C". eg. "Did you know that you can swap two integers by doing a^=b^=a^=b;? But you don't want to do that, because it actually compiles slower and larger than the usual method of using a temporary variable." With flying code-snippets in the background.

"THAT'S EDUTAINMENT!" Or so, I think it would eventually work itself out to be, edutainment. Learn while being entertained. How to teach the MTV generation, and all that. I imagine that quite a number of people would find it very useful. Thing is, who is going to make them? Yow? Can you be arsed, to tutor people? |
