Time for a succinct review. Rollerball. It's everything you would expect. Which is to say, it's not very good, and even Jean Reno playing an evil character or the lass with the nice scar can't save it. Also, the main character isn't played by Keanu Reeves, but might as well be, since the guy who plays him looks and acts the same. Watch it when it's on TV, when the alternatives are a repeat of Absolutely Fabulous or having your face eaten.

Absolutely anything is preferable to watching Absolutely Fabulous. |

Having just watched the first episode of the all new Ab Fab, I feel moved to comment that Australia sends you Britishers such quality drama as Neighbours, and ... Hmm. That Saffy though, she's a bit of alright. I say this having watched Julia Sawalha's regrettable downward spiral since 'Press Gang'. Was there ever a movie called '(Attack|Revenge) of the Rollerboys'? Or am I thinking of a different really bad movie that gives me a sense of deja vu when watching trailers for Rollerball? Oh, if there has never been a movie called '(Attack|Revenge) of the Rollerboys', I claim dibs on that title. |

No idea. There's a 'Revenge of the Drunken Master' starring 'Johnny Chan', though. While we're on the subject of poor premises. |

there was a movie called solarbabies, about kids on rollerblades in the future. I think... starred one of the loser coreys. |

Hehe, my fiancee has that one. He wants to be the master of bad movies. Even has the Wild World of Batwoman (the original, before MST3K got to it) http://us.imdb.com/Title?0061191 |

Hey, the original Rollerball is good, in that rather horrid way that 70's pseudo-sci-fi social commentary can be. |
