Near our new house is a childcare centre, by the name of "Redeemers". I can't think of anything that would sound more like a scary cult. Even "The Cult Childcare Centre" would sound more innocent - perhaps suggesting that they encourage appreciation of TV shows such as The Prisoner or Red Dwarf. Redeemers is either a cult or a superhero trio.

That gives me a great idea... "Quick children, the redemption phone is ringing! Let's... GET - IT - ON!" In a flash, the youngsters are transformed into tiny crime-fighting kiddies. RATTLE! "With my child's rattle, I shall bonk villainy over the head!" PACIFIER! "Suck on THIS, foul fiend!" RASH! "Try holding that gun steady with diaper-rash, evil doer!" and their heroic leader... JUICE! Theme song "WE want JUICE! WE want JUICE! RASH! PACIFIER! RATTLE... THE REDEEMERS!" Enjoy your new home. |

I just find it refreshing that they are finally recycling children. I hope they give a good bit of change for each child turned in for the deposit.... |

I'll admit that's bad. But consider the following: "G-Kids". |

Yes, more children need to learn the space corp directives. Especially 34125 :) |

Well I live up here in da minnesoter and dos Redeemers is everywhere. Dey claim they's a christian religion, that's all I know. Well...that's not all I know. I think the prisoner, dr who, and red dwarf should be taught in public schools. The kiddies need to learn how to get out of tight situations and deal with pschological torture. I nicknamed former prez bill rimmer....I wondered if he ever watched red dwarf? |

in american arcades they often have games where you win tickets that can be exchanged for prizes. These are known as Redemption Games. This may or may not also be the title of a failed Stephen Seagal movie where he plays a ninja ex-priest who learns to love again through violence. |

Alas, I used to watch Red Dwarf with rapture, but my local public broadcast station has given it the boot. |
