Aha! I am Professor Albus Dumbledore, and as the Headmaster of this fine establishment would like to say a few words: Nitwit. Fish fingers. Hogwash. (following this I am Harry, the boy himself, Professor Remus Lupin, good (as opposed to evil) werewolf who shows up in the third book as defense against the dark arts teacher with a witty name, Hagrid, grounds keeper with a fetish about dangerous animals, Hermione, who is the best character in the books really). To answer your queries, Alastor "Mad Eye" Moody is the defense against the dark arts teacher in the fourth book. He has a magical eye that spins around to look at things, often through the back of his head and several brick walls. Sirius Black is in the third and fourth books as a rampaging murderer escaped from prison and also Harry's godfather. His name also has the same number of syllables as Winnie the Pooh, though I shouldn't think that this is relevant. Though apparently, the American versions of both the books and the movie have been poked at a bit to avoid terrifying Americans with notions such as Blackpool and Skegness, so things may be different over there. They probably don't know who Winnie the Pooh is either. He doesn't come in until the eighth Potter book. Australia is always careful to get the English version of everything of course. The convicts tend to expect the real thing, straight from the old country. |
