| Damn me and my unwillingness to bend the rules. I realised my word-count program was counting, for example, my occasionally-used divider "* * * * *" as 5 words. So I changed the program, expecting maybe 50 words to drop from my count. Goodbye 488 words. And there was me thinking I was within spitting distance of the end. I still am, I just have to spit harder.
